What is hupp?

hupp turns a local HTML or Markdown file into a shareable page with a single command:

Terminal window
hupp report.html

The command prints a link like https://hupp.ing/f/3xK9dQ/report.html. Anyone you send it to sees the page — no build step, no repository, no hosting setup.

  • HTML files are served exactly as you wrote them, inside a sandbox that keeps published pages from touching your hupp session.
  • Markdown files are rendered to a clean, styled page. The first heading becomes the page title.
  • Every page gets a comment widget so readers can leave feedback you can read back from the terminal with hupp comments.
